From Nybro where I live to the Finnish boarder is 3 comfortable days driving or 2 long days with a total distance of 1750 km. I would like to get through the populated regions of Sweden as quickly as possible, which will give me more time to enjoy northern reaches of Scandinavia. My plan once in the north is to drive approx 400 km a day which should allow me plenty of time to get in as many sites and activities as possible.
Follow along with me on a trip of a life time for my 50th birthday with a 36 year old Land Rover.

To put this trip in prospective here is a picture of a map for the route that I have planned.

The above image has been replaced with an updated route. I've found another trail in northern Norway that is 97km long which has only cycle & 4x4 access.
